Together with my fabulous co-hosts Risto, Sabrina and Mona we got the opportunity to educate ourselves by asking questions about how to think about investing from Ditte, Harri and Iikka.

For me, the below quoted answers capture the insights from our discussion.

How do you consider Impact in your investments?

There is a Duality of Impact that I consider — how to first turn waste into something of value, and later how to design waste out completely

What do you think could be done to bring together different types of investors in the ecosystem from angels, to early-stage, growth, and buyout?

From the ecosystem perspective it’s important to understand what is the journey and what are the conversion points for the different investors — and how to de-risk those conversion points by getting companies ready in the right way.

How can you de-risk the conversion points for the different investors?

As investors, or capital allocators, I think it’s our role to create the right incentives, so that we can guide the entrepreneurs towards the path that the next investors are looking for.
